About the job

Supervises team of order entry specialists. Oversees order entry, administration, and customer issue resolution. Coordinates shipping processes with fulfillment team. Trains and cross-trains team members. Monitors daily activities to ensure that accuracy, customer service, and quality standards are maintained. Uses order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, maintain customer information, and monitor contracts or agreements for expiration or renewal. Monitors inventories to maintain appropriate levels of products. Troubleshoots and resolves workflow or systems issues. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.

Essential Function

  • Supervise a team of order entry specialists responsible for the processing of manual and EDI delivered orders into company ERP system for fulfillment and invoicing.
  • Responsible for the generation and circulation of direct customer notifications inclusive of pricing events, promotional activities and shipment schedule.
  • Update, maintain and document all customer specific price lists maintained in ERP system, including review of process by internal and external auditors.
  • Coordinate product shipments, order changes and backorders with fulfillment department.
  • Manage and audit for accuracy all discounting and promotional active done at order entry level.
  • Working in conjunction with AR department, responsible for assisting in direct customer maintenance and application processing for new accounts.
  • Ensure department provides the highest level of Customer Service, assisting team with issue resolution and escalation to other departments as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ year of related experience with 1-year managerial experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and/or sales experience in similar industry
